The Photo Studio is a fashion and portrait photography company with studios in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane. Their mission? To challenge beauty standards and champion diversity—empowering people of all ages, sizes, and backgrounds to step confidently in front of the camera.
I joined the team as Marketing Coordinator and was later promoted to Marketing Manager. I led a team of creatives, ran high-performing campaigns across Meta, CRM, YouTube, and SEO.
I also built strong influencer partnerships (especially with YouTubers) and streamlined workflows to boost productivity.
One of my proudest wins? Boosting lead generation by 138% year-on-year—playing a key role in the studio’s continued growth.

curve model search
the objective: To generate 5,000 leads through Facebook and Instagram.
the angle: The concept behind Curve Model Search was to shed light upon the lack of representation of body shapes and sizes within the modelling industry and by default, the media. We wanted to inspire aspiring models to be a part of the change they want to see.
the partnership: We partnered with Giant Model Management to offer one person a modelling contract with them plus develop their model portfolio with The Photo Studio.

Anucia de Boer was the winner of our Curve Model Search, and ultimately was signed with Giant Model Management.
We created a behind-the-scenes video of her photoshoot as marketing material to nurture our clients. It worked as social proof, showing that our product can help them get into the industry.

Although The Photo Studio's main goal is to sell images, the strongest selling point is the actual photoshoot. Most of our clients feel incredibly empowered throughout their shoot. This is a strong motivation for them to keep images that reflect that confidence.
